Erebus Nights
“Notte” is a rework of #4 in C minor by Luca Longobardi, reimagined as a dramatic love story between a young woman and Erebus, the personification of darkness and the underworld. Performed by mezzo-soprano Angela Bonfitto and orchestrated for strings, winds, horns, and percussion, the piece weaves love, melancholy, and fear into an evocative soundscape. Written in D minor, it transforms the original piano work into a cinematic orchestral reinterpretation.
